Runivation

Runivation offers a great opportunity to stay motivated while achieving a goal in sports. Our product is primarily designed for runners who often have difficulty in engaging themselves for continuous training or also to support the training process in general. Through Runivation, we want to create a pleasant experience helping to achieve your aims by involving friends and family as well as giving you the opportunity to visualize your progress.

Runivation consists of two products. One is an armlet, the other one is an interactive training board. Both are synchronized with each other and are able to display your training progress in color. First, the board is configured by creating a profile and defining a goal, such as training for a marathon, i.e. being able to run about 42 km at a stretch.

Afterwards, the training can be started. For this purpose the armlet must be worn while running, in order to track time and distance. Progress made by the user over time is indicated by the color of the armlet, which means that the color adapts accordingly to the training progress. That way it is possible to also show other runners your efforts. Furthermore, the training board at home always glows in the same color as the armlet is currently displaying and additionally shows a progress bar until the goal is reached.

However, the color transformation is not the only feature that Runivation provides. The user also has the possibility to share the goal with friends and family via a share function on the training board. Using a web interface, friends and family members can then enter rewards via text or speech messages that will be released when the user reaches certain milestones. On the progress bar at the training board, the user can thus check when the rewards will be available. This is intended to further motivate the user to continue training. If, however, the user does experience a low level of motivation during a training session, the armlet is also equipped with a voice function reminding the user when the next reward is waiting for him or her.

Once the reward is reached through further training, the armlet is then able to directly announce the reward via a voice output during running, e.g. “Hey Lea, you made it, I’ll invite you to dinner at the weekend!“ This serves as direct, motivating feedback during the training session. Rewards that have already been released can also be relistened or reviewed at any time in the training board.

Through Runivation, the user remains motivated and can thus achieve his self-set goal through continual, enjoyable training!

Team Spirit

Team Spirit is intended to promote the concept of team fitness.

It is a shared fitness app that only unlocks a reward set by the team when each group member achieves their training goal. At the beginning, a reward is set for achievement (e.g. group vacation). Each person sets their individual training goals and pays their share of the goal in advance into a “trust fund”. When milestone is reached, group unlocks “Emoji of the week” (a new one every week).

When everyone has reached their goal, the app unlocks the reward and the team can celebrate their joint reminder “to keep going”. The EmojiBoard feature shows which emojis have been looked during each stage of the milestone.

Team Spirit has 6 main steps:

  1. Sign Up
  2. Team selection
  3. Training plan
  4. Fund Contributions
  5. Progress Tracking
  6. Receive Reward

Habit Frame

Habit Frame offers a great opportunity for people that are working from home or even people that want to be more motivated in their everyday life, to set daily goals and helps them to achieve these goals with their motivational buddy. The product is designed as a frame, which can be personalised and comes with the Habit Frame app. In addition, one can earn achievements by completing tasks.

Goals are created and edited in the app and one’s progress can be seen there, too. Every goal, which is set, has a specific category and for every category there is a bar that fills when completing a task in that category. Categories available are sports, health and education. Not only daily progresses, but also one’s progress within months or a year can be tracked.

The benefit of the app is also scientifically proven. Clicking and completing tasks together with positive visual feedback triggers the limbic system of the brain, which is responsible for emotional responses. The positive feedback gives the brain a boost and leads to a release of dopamine and serotonin, which has a positive impact on internal drive, learning, memory and emotions.

Europe Hiker

Every meter counts

Europe Hiker offers the user the opportunity to have the routes covered displayed in real time. The distances you cover in your daily life are added up and are updated accordingly on the map.  This is to motivate you to move more and have fun while challenging yourself. The map is also a nice decorative item to decorate your wall with. It makes the hypothetical route tangible.

How it works?

  1. you choose a starting and a destination city from a set of possible cities (e.g. Paris, Berlin, Madrid etc.)
  2. these are marked by LEDs on the map (luminous dots) • the calculated distance between the start and destination city is displayed to the user via the application • the application is used to track distances covered during cardio, e.g. cycling, walking, jogging and adding them up
  3. this data is synchronized with the map in real time so that it is updated
  4. the length of the total distances already covered should be visible on the map over an illuminated portion of the route between the two cities and grow over time
  5. There are different milestones that can be reached, which should help to maintain motivation over a longer period of time

There are several available editions you can choose from, for example Germany, Austria, France and for the highly motivated, all of Europe.
